Tirta Gangga Bali is a water park inherited from the Kingdom of Karangasem and was built by the King of Karangasem in 1946. The name Taman Tirta Gangga means holy water from the Ganges river in India.
And the construction of this park is also intended as a tribute to people who embrace Hinduism. Due to the eruption of Mount Agung around 1963, the Tirta Gangga Park area had undergone a major renovation.
The highlights at Tirta Gangga Bali are a garden, a pool of water and also a statue. This park has an area of about 1.2 hectares, extending from east to west. In Tirta Gangga there are also three levels of buildings.
The first building or the tallest building has a spring under a banyan tree. The second building you can find a swimming pool, and the third building at the bottom there is a fountain and a pool of water.
